Janis has designed and decorated many fine homes in Ridgewood, Saddle River and the surrounding areas, including those on the Ridgewood Women's Club Tour of Homes. She is friendly, professional and truly excited about each new opportunity to create a fabulous interior! Whether it's Traditional with a Twist, Romantic Tuscan, Bohemian Chic, or Clean Contemporary, Janis interprets a style with unique personality. Her rooms always have the "WOW Factor". Janis also enjoys her Commercial Design work in Restaurants and Spas, as seen below.

Recent Design Project

Janis recently completed designing the NEW Skinplicity Skincare Salon in Wyckoff, NJ. The Interior Design included: complete renderings, color schemes, furniture choices and placement, flooring, lighting and rug selection, shopping and placement of accessories and window treatments. Beyond the Interior Design Janis also created:

The logo for Skinplicity business cards, Gift Certificates, and glass window signage.
Original paintings for facial rooms
Original shadowbox for main reception area incorporating lead crystal elements, wire mesh, glass stones, mirrors and decorative papers
Exterior design: all window signage, font choices and layouts, outdoor urn selection

You can also see her work at several locations in Ridgewood. In Marcello's Ristorante at the station, she painted ten murals and designed the dramatic renovation including lighting, draperies and decorative accessories. Janis has also designed and created many of the attention getting new retail window displays at the YANSI FUGEL Designer clothing store in Ridgewood. The wildly creative restrooms in Ridgewood's It's Greek to Me are also her designs, using unexpected wall treatments, unique architectural design, as well as the large Crystal-embedded mosaic mirror which she personally handmade. She also created a wrap-around landscape in the entrance foyer of the Ridgewood Women's Club and a twenty foot scenic mural at Salon V'Paj in Englewood Cliffs.
